The Animal Health Laboratory of Seqomics Biotechnology Ltd. began its operations in 2014. The laboratory's goal is to identify and screen for hereditary genetic traits in domestic animals (dogs, cats, cattle, horses), including disease susceptibility, physical characteristics (e.g., color expression, polledness), and economically valuable traits (e.g., A1 vs. A2 milk in cattle).

Our primary objective is to provide high-quality diagnostic services to breeders, owners, and veterinarians, thereby contributing to their successful breeding or veterinary work, ultimately helping to maintain the health of their pets or breeding animals.

We currently operate with a panel of 171 dog tests, 9 cat tests, 4 cattle tests, and 5 horse tests, all of which are developed in-house and approved by the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH). Our tests are developed and continuously expanded based on scientific literature that proves causative relationships. A key aspect of our work is that we use the latest international scientific data and the most modern equipment, employing the most reliable molecular biology methods to identify specific mutations.
